Associate Broker
You know you’ve struck gold when your broker brings 40 years’ experience in construction management, building management and real estate. Shelley became a licensed real estate agent in 1983, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Italian Literature from Wells College in Aurora, New York. She quickly took several certificate courses to further develop her career from SUNY Albany and Building Owner’s Management Association, among others. But her vast experience in real estate started earlier.
Since 1979 she has had the privilege of working with her family’s real estate development and construction firm, where she currently serves as Vice President of Leasing and Property Management. At Wade Lupe Companies, she oversees all lease negotiations, interior renovations, maintenance and repairs for both commercial and residential properties.
A unique quality she brings to her clients at Armida Rose is how quickly she can visualize their needs—whether it’s for an office building sale, apartment rentals or new house sales. Genuinely a people person, Shelley has always been active in her community. Her list of charitable activities include having been an executive board member of Schenectady Economic Development Corp., a member of the National Association of Women in Construction, as well as participating in the community effort to rejuvenate the City of Schenectady’s downtown neighborhood.
